C4.75 2022 World Migration Report

As stated in the World Migration Report 2022 uploaded in December 2021 by the International Organization for Migration (IOM):
  1. As of 2020, there were 281 million international migrants worldwide, an increase of 3.5% compared to the total number in 2019.
  2. The main migrant-receiving countries are the United States, Germany, Saudi Arabia, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, etc. The United Kingdom ranks fifth in terms of the number of immigrants choosing to settle there.
  3. The main migrant-sending countries are India, Mexico, Russia, China, etc. China ranks fourth in terms of the number of people choosing to migrate overseas
