C4.49 Outlet Villages and Discount Stores

What outlet villages and discount stores are there in the UK?
There are several outlet villages in the UK, but I’ve only visited one—Bicester Village—and the Burberry Factory Store in London. Bicester Village is the most well-known outlet village I often hear about, and I’ve been there a few times. Its location isn’t particularly far, about a 1-hour drive from London. It offers luggage storage services, and you can even ship your purchases if you buy too many.

I’d like to remind you: when shopping at Bicester Village, be sure to first go to the customer service center to get a 10% discount voucher. It can be used for extra savings on top of existing discounts—many people don’t know this trick, and it saves a lot of money. However, you must show a domestic UnionPay card to the staff to receive the voucher, or you can get a 10% discount QR code via Alipay.
Based on my experience buying Burberry at outlet villages in various countries, the styles available at outlet villages are similar, but the prices vary. Bicester Village offers the cheapest Burberry, thanks to additional discounts like stackable offers—especially in June.
The Burberry Factory Store in London is far from the city center. I’ve been there too, but found that the same style of bag is much cheaper at Bicester Village. This is also true when comparing to outlet villages in other European countries. Of course, I only paid special attention to the Burberry brand and didn’t focus much on others. Buy what you like without overthinking :)

Address: 29-53 Chatham Place, London, E9 6LP
The styles of Burberry at regular retail stores are different from those at outlet villages or factory stores. Products at outlet villages and factory stores are basically similar, but there may be price differences. Items sold at outlet villages and factory stores are not the same as those at regular retail stores—you won’t find identical styles.

This store requires careful browsing to find great deals. You can hunt for branded items with missing sizes—many are good quality and affordable. If you like something, grab it right away. The turnover rate is high, so if you don’t buy it on the spot, it will mostly be gone later
