It is issued in 3 age categories:
  • Adults "18+"

  • Young people aged 16 and above "16-17"

  • Children "Under 16"

Based on the age classification, retailers and venue staff can easily determine whether a person is of the required age to purchase age-restricted goods or enter the premises.
This card is widely recognized as the most accepted photo ID in the UK. It can help prove age and identity when visiting venues, shopping, or using services such as transportation.
Note: This is a temporary emergency ID card and cannot replace a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). It is only accepted in certain places, and many establishments do not recognize it. The BRP is the only official identity document designated and approved by the UK government
