On the new registration website, the sign-up channels for IELTS (Academic/General Training), IELTS for UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration), and IELTS Life Skills are separated.

Additionally, the registration channels for computer-delivered IELTS and paper-based IELTS are also distinguished.

So, how to check test slots on the official website?

A special reminder: You only need to register and log in to the registration website—no need to recharge—to check test slots! The specific steps are as follows:

1. Register an account and log in

First, complete the account registration and log in to the system.

2. Locate the "Test Slot Query" button

After logging in, you will be automatically redirected to your personal homepage. Scroll down slightly to find the "Test Slot Query" button (as indicated by the arrow in the image). Note that even if your account balance is 0, this function works normally—convenient for you to confirm suitable test dates and locations before making payment.

3. Select test preferences and query

Click "Test Slot Query" to enter the next page. Here, you can select your preferred test mode (computer-delivered/paper-based), location, and date. Finally, click "Test Slot Query" to proceed!

The results page will display comprehensive information, including test center name, test type, academic/oral test format, and remaining slots. A thoughtful new feature: a "Next Test Date" button next to the date selection allows you to easily check slots for other dates.

After logging in, you can view a "registration progress bar" on the webpage to track your application status in real time—no more getting lost in the registration process!
