C2.4 International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC)¶
Exclusive Benefits for Teachers and Professors: ITIC
From this moment on, my ambition and career plan are changing. My childhood dream was always to become a professor... and it absolutely wasn't because of this discount card, nor did I suddenly develop this lifelong ambition just because I saw this card... Hahaha, what am I saying? I didn't say anything at all...
From now on, please affectionately call me Professor Miao. Thank you, my dear students. I will be a proper Professor Miao; I definitely won't go around being improper. After all, I am a learned, erudite, and... let's say 'great' feline leader who loves a good ramble...
The ITIC (International Teacher Identity Card) is available to all full-time teachers and professors worldwide. The benefits include discounts and offers on attractions, flights, hotels, dining, shopping, and more in over 130 countries. The card looks like the one in the image below.

Apply online, which is also very convenient. First, log in to the website:https://uk2-online.aliveplatform.com/ordering/card-type-selection?

When filling in your details, you will be asked to provide your UK home address. You will then have the option to pay an extra £1 for faster delivery to your home. Standard postage takes 5 to 10 days to arrive, whereas paying the extra £1 means delivery can be as quick as 2 days, or at most 3 to 5 days. Of course, if you are about to travel to Europe soon, it is recommended to add the £1.
Upload your proof of teaching employment, your passport, and a passport-style photograph with a white background. The photo requirements are as follows (you can take it with your mobile phone against a plain white wall and then edit it accordingly).
After completing the payment, you can relax at home and wait for your ITIC card to arrive.
